Privacy
data.techspike.tv is a personal passion project by Orie Steele — not a company. It does not run analytics, does not track you, and does not sell or share personal data. This page says, plainly, what it collects and why.
If you just browse
We collect no personal data and set no cookies. Like any website, the hosting provider keeps short-lived server request logs (IP address, timestamp, path) to run the service and limit abuse. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
If you sign in (closed beta)
Sign-in is handled by Auth0, a third-party login provider. We receive your email address and basic profile, and use them for one purpose: to check whether your account is on the beta access list. We do not use your email for marketing.
Cookies
One cookie only: the login session Auth0 sets afteryou sign in. It is strictly necessary to keep you logged in, so under standard privacy rules it needs no consent banner — and you won't see one. We set no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, because there are none to set.
The data we publish
The entity data here is aggregated from public records(sanctions lists, registries, procurement, and similar), and every fact links to the source that asserted it. We don't create new personal profiles. If you believe a record is wrong or should be removed, open an issue in the public data-requests tracker.
Where it runs
The service is built on standard infrastructure that processes data on its behalf: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), and Auth0 (sign-in). No data is sold to anyone.
